Hotel San Rocco
The Hotel San Rocco overlooks the shores of the magical Lake Orta in Piedmont. Surrounded by nature and bordered by the walls of an ancient monastery, the history of the San Rocco hotel began more than 400 years ago as a cloistered convent. In 1960 it officially became a luxury hotel, taking its name from the ancient church located a few meters away. It later incorporated the prestigious Villa Gippini, an elegant baroque building now annexed to the hotel. Currently classified as 4-star superior, it has 77 rooms, a gourmet restaurant “Magic Theater”, a lounge bar with terraces overlooking the lake, a billiard room with a view, direct docking from the lake, meeting rooms and a Roof garden.
